The Problem: The Latino Center of the Midlands is a nonprofit that provides services to the Latinx and minority community in Omaha, Nebraska, such as immigration, translation, job placement, and student services. One of their programs helps provide college students with paid internships in various industries. The latest program is called Siembra Carreras, which helps students learn skills in professional and technical environments. The Latino Center wanted a video highlighting the new program in order to attract new businesses to participate and to encourage funders to donate to the Latino Center.
The Solution: I shot 7 interviews over the course of a couple weeks with various program participants. This included 3 students, 3 business mentors, and the head of the Siembra program for the Latino Center. I directed the lighting and shooting of the interviews, shot some of the b-roll, and edited the finished product, including titles and music. The video was formatted for delivery to the client’s YouTube channel. It was also played at their 50th anniversary fundraising dinner.
Case 2: Ad & Website Design

Role: Project Planner, Copywriter, Videographer, Editor
The Problem: Local small business owner Jordan wanted to expand his services to new clients. He wanted a video that highlights what he offers in his fitness training studio and what sets them apart from other services in the area.
The Solution: Hagins Media Group met with Jordan and walked him through the process from start to finish. I got a feel for his business and what makes him stand out and put that into a customized script. My husband and I shot the video on a BlackMagic Cinema 6k Pro in BRAW so we could control the color and style of the video. I edited the finished product and created a motion graphic version of his logo. I also posted the client's video to his YouTube channel and redid the home page of his website to highlight the new video and for overall look and feel. www.foundationproof.us
Case 3: Community Harvest Launch
Created for: No More Empty Pots
Camera: Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 6k Pro
Mics: Sennheiser Shotgun
Editing: Premiere Pro
Coloring: DaVinci Resolve
Role: Project Planner, Copywriter, Videographer, Editor
The Problem: No More Empty Pots is a nonprofit in Omaha that provides food for those living in a food dessert or who many not have steady access to food. Their focus is on community agriculture and nutrition from fresh fruits and vegetables. They wanted to change their business model to a subscription service with a sliding scale fee. NMEP wanted a video to bring awareness to the changes for their clients.
The Solution: I wrote a script explaining the new business model that NMEP would be employing and what made it special to the Omaha area. My husband and I shot the video on a BlackMagic Cinema 6k Pro in BRAW. I directed most of the shots as well. We met with the clients several times over the course of a few weeks so we could capture different stages of food preparation and distribution. I edited the finished product for delivery to the client's YouTube channel and other social media outlets.
